HAE welcomes seven new board members

Following its Annual General Meeting last week, Hire Association Europe has welcomed seven new members to its board.

Andrew Thompson, CEO of Cleveland Group, joins the HAE Tools, Plant and Equipment Board, alongside Sean Scarah, director of Plant & Logistics (Asset and Technology Solutions) at Balfour Beatty. 

Joining the HAE EHA Supply Chain Board is Chris Pugh, head of MX fuel & rental channel, Milwaukee Tool UK, and Kevin Wheeler, national field sales manager (Distribution) at Husqvarna UK.

Matt O’Hara, sales director of Instagrid UK, Scott Miller, repair service specialist, Hilti (GB), and Tom Pearson, commercial director at CPD Bodies Ltd, also join the HAE EHA Supply Chain Board.

Board members re-elected include David Fox from Hirebase, Keith Hallam from Bradfords Buidling Supplies and Mark Hamilton from Vp Brandon Hire Station for the HAE Tools, Plant & Equipment Board.

Andrew Fishburn from Snorkel, Mark Goodrum from Point of Rental Software, Pat Lawlor from Infor (UK) and Paul Mabey from JCB were also re-elected to the The HAE EHA Supply Chain Board.

Meanwhile, Matthew Wilson of SHC Hire Centres, Andy Connor of Speedy Hire, Stewart Dowling of Hilti (GB) and Dominic Waring of Husqvarna UK have all stood down from their respective board roles.

Commenting on the new board, HAE EHA chief executive Paul Gaze said, “2024 was a significant milestone for the association as we celebrated our 50th anniversary. Could I place on record my thanks to all the Board Members for giving their time freely to support the work of the association.

“Could I also say a huge thank you to Chair Phil Leahy and Vice Chair Sally Wray for their support over the past year.”
