Point of Rental integrates auction platform

Rental software company Point of Rental has signed a partnership with online auctioneer Bidadoo that will allow Point of Rental customers to sell used equipment “seamlessly” through Bidadoo’s auction platform.

The auction company said the deal represented a “transformative leap in equipment remarketing”, giving regional rental fleets instant access to a global audience of online equipment buyers. Bidaboo is an eBay partner, meaning that when buyers bid or make an offer, they are automatically taken to the eBay site.

Wayne Harris, CEO of Point of Rental, said the partnership empowered its customers; “This partnership gives Point of Rental customers the ability to turn inventory and fleet assets into capital with the confidence that comes from working with bidadoo’s trusted platform.”

Howard Hawk, president of Bidadoo, said: “This partnership aligns with our mission to help equipment owners get the best return on their assets by making sales fast, transparent, and profitable.

“With our mutual long-standing history in the rental industry, together, we are streamlining the process and giving rental companies an industry-leading solution for fleet management and remarketing.”

Loren Carlson, VP of Business Development at bidadoo, added; “In just one week, we’ve seen tremendous interest among customers in the launch of this integrated solution and partnership.”

Bidaboo has been an eBay partner since 2021. Around 85% of equipment sold from the US and Canada on its site goes to external US states or countries.
